It was challenging hearing 7 hours of projects, but the hope the children have in their power to be the change they want to see in keeping our earth healthy fills my heart and soul with optimism.  The EarthShot Prize Award and the quality of innovation being generated to keep our earth healthy give me real hope that ignorance and fear are being overpowered by science and kindness.  I was considering leaving Facebook, but I will miss the connection to all the positive learning it brings along with the negative.   I want to be remembered as a good ancestor and I hope to ignite in my grandchildren the powerful connection my soul has to nature and my ancestors.  I pray more guided by fear than faith.  I connect to peaceful and in-balance nature guided by the absence of fear, with hope and optimism.  I guess I just described my faith as connected to an unknown creator and the legacy of my father's devotion to his man-made icon of Peace, "La Virgen de Lourdes".
